Thanksgiving!!!

Addie Kate had so much fun at her CC and Papa's house for thanksgiving.  She had her first airplane ride which she did great on (all 4 times)! 

She was not put down all week.  Between both sets of grandparents, her 5 aunts and uncles, two sets of her great-grandparents, great aunt and uncle and 2 cousins she was quit busy.   This baby loves people and was in her element around this crowd.  I have learned that she would much rather be held than put down and would prefer a human face and voice any day over a toy. (She might like a real puppy too, she loved CC and Papa's dog Mattie).  This can be very tiring for me when I am home with her all day, but at the same time I know there will come a time where Iwill wish she would let me hold her and cuddle her like she does now!! 

The Friday after Christmas we had family pictures in matching pajamas (even the great grand parents joined in and were so precious) .  They didn't have any in Addie Kate's size so a made her a pair.  They turned out so cute and I can't wait to see the professional pics with the whole family.  The countdown is now on for Christmas!  We can't wait to come see all our friends and family!!!

Fall Pictures

Yesterday we got some pictures taken, hopefully for our Christmas cards.  Lacy, the lady that took the pictures, was so wonderful and sent us a sneak peak of what she got.  

  Addie Kate and I were lucky to get there at all.  She had a meltdown yesterday and just wanted to be held.  I thought I might never get ready and finally had to call Gabe to come help.  Lacy was so patient with us even though we were about twenty minutes late.  Addie Kate finally got it together so we could get some good shots!! 

2 months old

Addie Kate has changed so much already in two months.  The first picture was taken a few minutes after she was born and the other two were taken at one and at two months!

This video is of Addie Kate talking to her CC.  She loves to chat it up with her mom!!  We think she might start talking really early!!

8 week check-up

Addie Kate weighed 11 lbs and 14 oz at her 8 week exam.  She is a healthy girl!  She has dropped to the 75 percentile verse the 90 percentile she was at her last exam. 

She also got her first round of vaccinations at this appointment.  We were so proud of our her, she only cried for a few seconds.

Mommy's little cowgirl

Addie Kate had her first birthday party to go to on Saturday. It was a cowboy theme and they asked all the kids to dress up in their best cowboy attire. I found this outfit and added the boots and hat. Lets just say she was not crazy about that hat at all. We'll stick to the bows for now!!

One month old today!

Addie Kate is one month old today!! I can't believe how fast this month has passed by!

pink pigs

Today while showering I left Addie Kate on our bed with her pink pig blanket. When I got out of the shower I found them cuddled together and had to take a picture. Addie Kate is really loving that little pig!!

Bows, bows, and more bows....

I made bows for Addie Kate before she was born with a group of women from church. They were not working so well in her hair until we got this headband in a package from Shelby. Now I can just switch the bows out to match her outfits. She loves her bows!!
